Painted Cat is the bottle you keep within arm's reach. A smooth, easy-drinking Cabernet Sauvignon full of ripe dark fruit, with soft tannins and a clean, comfortable finish. The cats on the label do not take themselves too seriously. The wine underneath takes quality and price very seriously.
Description
Open it with weeknight pasta, pizza, burgers or a board of cheese. It is made for evenings without an occasion, which is exactly why it disappears quickly, and why so many of our customers bring it home by the case of 12.
Taste & details
First pour: ripe plum and dark cherry, a floral note from the Touriga. First sip: round, smooth, a whisper of vanilla, zero harsh edges. Medium body, dry, 13.5%. Serve slightly cool (14-16C), 20 minutes in the fridge in summer.
