Elaborado a partir das variedades Macabeo, Xarel-lo e Parellada, o Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut apresenta cor amarelo palha e brilhante. Cava ligeiro, muito apreciado pela sua frescura. A predominância da casta Parellada na coupage e a fermentação a temperatura controlada de 12ºC, conferem-lhe aromas finos e intensos, predominando os frutados. A bolha, fina e persistente, forma uma excelente coroa. É limpo em sabores, ligeiro e com uma elegante e ampla via retronasal.
