Montelouro Tinto exibe um sabor rico em frutas, com alguma profundidade e uma boa estrutura de taninos, final de boca longo.
A vinificação foi feita com pisa a pé e em lagares tradicionais de granito, com temperatura controlada e com pós maceração fermentativa. O blend final foi obtido através do envelhecimento de 50 % do lote em barricas de carvalho francês e 50 % do lote em barricas de carvalho americano, durante 6 meses.
