Portugal makes some of Europe's most distinctive white wines, and this is where to find them. From the north come Vinho Verde and single-grape Alvarinho and Loureiro, light and fresh. The Douro and the Dão give fuller whites, some aged in oak, and the Alentejo and Lisboa give rounder whites made for food.
Alongside them you will find Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo from Rueda, Albariño from Rías Baixas and Pinot Grigio from Italy. Filter by country, grape or price, or open a product page to see the region, the grapes and the alcohol content before you choose. If you like crisp, lighter whites, Vinho Verde is the natural starting point. If you prefer more body, look at the Douro and Alentejo whites.
