Quinta dos Carvalhais Touriga Nacional

This wine has a ruby red colour. It is an intense, complex and elegant wine. The notes of ripe black fruit, the delicate floral nuances and the touches of scrub that add freshness are very well wrapped in a whole in which ageing in barrel only adds more complexity. On the palate it is harmonious and balanced, with soft tannin giving structure and strength to the wine. Aromas of sous-bois, forest and fruit can also be sensed, and these persist in a long, lingering finish.
