This wine is produced with the best grapes from Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Moreto and Alfrocheiro from each harvest, produced in modern vineyards on the Left Bank of the Guadiana. It aged in French oak wood for six months, in order to gain some aromatic refinement without compromising the character that the grape varieties and the region impart.
