Intense aroma of red and black forest fruits, spicy notes and licorice highlight the maturation of the main grape varieties planted in high and cool areas of the Douro, such as Tinta Roriz, more aromatic and light, Touriga Franca shows a lot of fruit and discreet vegetable notes and the elegance of Touriga Nacional. The brief aging in French barrels complexes the fruit aroma and aging of this excellent example of Douro wines with a modern and international but very typical profile. In the mouth it is sweet and enveloping, with very soft noble tannins, long and warm finish.
