Deep, dense red colour. Intense, concentrated and complex aroma, dominated by ripe black fruits such as blackberry, cassis and redcurrant, floral aromas of violet, and aromas of exotic woods. Its complexity, which tends to increase with time, comes from the aromas created by its 'élevage' in barrels. Present acidity, firm but ripe tannins, well wrapped in its body and volume. All these characteristics, combined with its retronasal aroma, give rise to a full, intense wine with great final persistence.
