Esta sub-região escondida na margem esquerda do Guadiana, apresenta condições edaflo-climáticas muito próprias que criam vinhos altamente distintivos. Este vinho que tem por base as castas Moreto, Alfrocheiro e Aragonez, de sabor final fino e persistente a frutos secos, especiarias e cacau, revela-se equilibrado e elegante.
